Zúñiga has had over nine years of lodging
industry consulting experience with Goodwin
& Associates and with the Ministry of Tourism
in Mexico City.
With Goodwin
& Associates,
Claudia Zúñiga has
been actively involved in a variety of consulting assignments in
various cities of the Republic of Mexico including: the three largest
industrial cities (Mexico, Monterrey, Guadalajara), most of the
significant interior and border cities, some of the primary resort
locations, and She has also been involved in consulting engagements
in Panama.

Claudia
Zúñiga is responsible of the monthly compilation
and production of lodging statistics for "Panorama
Hotelero - México",
in conjunction with Smith
Travel Research. Panorama
Hotelero - México gathers
and reports data from the major hotel management companies and franchisors
with operations in Mexico, including: Grupo Situr, Camino Real,
Quinta Real, Calinda, Posada Real, NH Hotels, Hilton, Westin, Sheraton
and Presidente Intercontinental, and most of the U.S. - based chains
with representation in Mexico, such as Intercontinental Hotels Group
and Marriott, many of whom are also clients of Goodwin
& Associates.
Claudia Zúñiga participated in the
Development of the “Five Year Marketing Plan for the Fideicomiso
de Turismo – Puerto Vallarta: 2004 – 2008”.
Ms. Claudia Zúñiga
received a degree in Tourism with a Touristic Planning and Development
speciality, at the Escuela Superior de Turismo of the Instituto
Politécnico Nacional, in Mexico City, and received a Marketing
diploma in the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de
Monterrey, Campus Ciudad de Mexico.
Claudia Zúñiga, is fluent in both
Spanish and English.
