María del Carmen Vallejo's areas of experience include market and financial analysis for various types of lodging facilities in strategic locations within the Republic of Mexico as well as in Central and South America.

She has also been involved with projects that include:

Market and financial analysis for resort and commercial hotels in Latin America;
Strategic planning for hotel companies attempting to operate in Mexico;
Impact analysis for international hotel franchising companies in Mexico and the United States;
Acquisition and investment analyses for various hotel properties;
Litigation support assignments involving hotel and time-share projects; and
Market analyses for other forms of real estate, including resort residential and time-share.

María del Carmen Vallejo has been actively involved in assignments for GE Capital, Goldman Sachs, Strategic Hotel Capital, Starwood Lodging (Westin & Sheraton), Grupo Situr, Hoteles Camino Real, Copamex Turismo / Milenium, Quinta Real, Hoteles Maeva, Marriott International, Intercontinental Hotel Group (Holiday Inn & Intercontinental), Hilton Hotels, and Hyatt Hotels, among others.

María del Carmen Vallejo participated in the Development of the “ Five Years Marketing Plan for the Fideicomiso de Turismo – Puerto Vallarta: 2004 – 2008”.

She has performed consulting assignments throughout the Republic of Mexico, including the three largest industrial cities (Mexico, Monterrey, Guadalajara), virtually all of the primary resort locations, and most of the significant interior and border cities. She has also been involved in consulting engagements in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and Peru.

María del Carmen Vallejo received a degree in Tourism with a Touristic Planning and Develpment speciality, at the Escuela Superior de Turismo of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, in Mexico City. Lic. Vallejo is also a graduate of the Foreign Language Program from the Instituto Anglo Mexicano de Cultura specializing in English language instruction.
