| Bruce
Goodwin has over twenty-four years of consulting experience
and fifteen years of direct management experience. His operations
background encompasses a broad range of local-property and regional
management experience.
Mr. Goodwin has extensive experience with hotels
and resorts in the Southwest United States as well as throughout
Latin America. Prior to establishing
Goodwin & Associates, Mr. Goodwin
served as a Director for Horwath Consulting International,
responsible for consulting in the Southwest United States and the
Republic of Mexico.
His
areas of consulting specialization and experience

analyses for a broad range of real estate projects, including
various types of hotels, commercial office, retail, resort residential
(condominiums and fractionals) and timeshare developments; |

Appraisal
and valuation services on a variety of income-producing real
estate uses, including commercial office buildings, retail centers,
marinas, as well as hotels and resorts in the U.S. and Latin
America; |

Performance,
productivity and internal control analyses for income producing
real estate; |

Financial analyses involving development, acquisition, syndication
and limited partnership formation; |

Receiverships,
asset management and bankruptcy filings for a variety of real
estate assets, including local and regional retail centers,
apartment complexes, industrial properties as well as hotels

support services, including expert testimony and arbitration
involving hotel and resort development, management operations

Mr.
Goodwin has performed assignments for major financial institutions
including: GE Capital, Goldman Sachs, Strategic Hotel Capital, Deutsche
Bank/Bankers Trust, Secured Capital, Wells Fargo Bank, B of A, Citigroup
and CIBC.
Hotel
chain clients include: Starwood (Westin & Sheraton), Wyndham,
Grupo Situr, Hoteles Camino Real, Copamex Turismo, Hoteles Optima,
Quinta Real, Hoteles Maeva, Sol Melia, Marriott International, InterContinental
(Holiday Inns & InterContinental), Hoteles Presidente, Hoteles
Emporio, Hilton Hotels, and Hyatt.
Mr.
Goodwin has served as a court-appointed receiver for various
real estate projects, including several hotels, apartment complexes,
and a one-million-square foot retail shopping mall. He has also
completed arbitration, mediation and issue review board certification
programs with the Institute for Conflict Management. He has served
as an arbitrator in hotel matters.
Mr. Goodwin has performed consulting and valuation
assignments throughout the Republic of Mexico, including the three
largest industrial cities (Mexico, Monterrey, Guadalajara), virtually
all nine of the primary resort locations (FONATUR and Traditional
destinations), and over three dozen interior and border cities.
Mr. Goodwin has performed consulting engagements
in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala,
Honduras, Panama and Peru.

Hotelero"
monthly.. "Panorama
Hotelero" presents occupancy,
average daily room rate and RevPAR data for approximately 185 hotels
with nearly 50,000 rooms. “Panorama Hotelero” is in
its eleventh year of production.
Mr. Goodwin has been a guest speaker at numerous
professional conferences, including those sponsored by American
Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS- formerly associated with UCLA),
The Lodging Conference (Phoenix), NYU Lodging Investment Conference,
Urban Land Institute-Resort and Mexico councils, Caribbean Tourism
& Hotel Investment Conference.
Mr.
Goodwin, have again become a member of the San Diego Hotel
& Motel Association Board of Directors.
Bruce Goodwin received his B.A. degree from Michigan State
University’s School of Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional
Management. He is past President and Chairman Emeritus of the
International
Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC).
